Coastal Community Beach Huts – Margate & Ramsgate Main Sands

The two Coastal Community Beach Huts (CCBH) on Margate and Ramsgate Main Sands are places that local community groups can hire to meet to enjoy the beach and access the natural coastline.

It is particularly suitable for young families, schools and community group visits and they are packed with lots of resources for enjoying this natural open space – including the new Coastal Explorer ‘tracker packs’ for families.

The CCBHs are available to hire to local schools, groups and community based organisations and provide a safe visible base for any trip, with a First Aid Kit included.

Examples of some of the equipment included: Parachute games, windbreaks, chairs and tables, (adult’s and children’s) bats and balls, craft activities, rounders kits, badminton set and much, much more! Facilities vary in the two huts.

Rental fees for the Beach Huts start at £15 per hour, up to £70 for a full day’s hire. Terms & Conditions apply.
