2020 Events and Activities

What's on 2020

Look out for the public events and activities run by the Thanet Coast Project in 2020.

The Thanet Coast Project run these public events with the help of volunteers - mainly Coastal Wardens/Guardians.  There are numerous practical opportunities for volunteers to help on the coast - see 'Coastal Wardens', Beach Cleans & 'Coastbusters'.

Some activities are part of the new 'Guardians of the Deep' project with support from the Heritage Lottery Fund to help increase awareness raising and engagement - particularly with schools.  Advice on school/group excursions can be found under Learning on this website.
